Jennylyn Mercado clarified that her home network has nothing to do why her supposed movie with Coco Martin under Star Cinema is no longer pushing through this year.
Mercado said the only reason why she and Martin won’t do the movie for the 2016 Metro Manila Film Festival is because of their conflicting schedules.
“Kung puwede o kung maisisingit ko, pupuwede, kaya lang hindi talaga kakayanin eh,” she said.
“Lalo na ngayon, October kailangang nakapasa na yung pelikula. So kailangan ibig sabihin, ngayon nagtatrabaho na ako. Paano yon, ‘di ba? Kaya malabo talaga,” she added.
Mercado emphasized her home network has always been supportive of her projects outside the TV station.
“Yon ‘yung maganda, kasi sinusuportahan pa rin ako ng GMA-7 kahit na gumagawa ako sa Quantum, gumagawa ako sa Regal, Star Cinema,” she said.
Personally, Mercado said she would love to do another movie with Star Cinema because she treasures her good working experience with its staff.
Mercado’s last movie “Just the 3 of Us,” which she co-starred with John Lloyd Cruz, was produced by the ABS-CBN film outfit.(MNS)
