What Kris constantly tells Joshua Garcia

When they first met in April, Joshua Garcia was visibly shy and brief with words when interviewed alongside Kris Aquino.

At the time, they were about to have their story conference for their upcoming Star Cinema movie “I Love You, Hater,” which also stars Julia Barretto.

After just a few shooting days, Aquino seemed to have built a good relationship and chemistry both with Garcia and Barretto.

While the two are special to her, Aquino shared to entertainment reporters on Thursday one important reminder that she keeps on repeating to Garcia.

“Ang sinabi ko lang, ‘Please be good.’ We did something together for a mutual endorsement. I really just told him that ‘being 21 up to 25, you have four years. After that, you don’t know,’” she narrated.

“We have such a young population, so sinabi ko talaga na, ‘Embrace this for what it is because this is really fleeting. Lilipas ito. Pero sobrang talented ka. Ngayon na pumapasok na ang big endorsements, alagaan mo.’”

According to Aquino, Garcia is the “real deal” and she is amazed at the level of professionalism he and Barretto have.

“You will only hear praises for me. They both have God-given talent. You know when actors are stars because on the screen, they come across as bigger and larger and you are drawn to watching them. ‘Yung dalawa, ganun,” she said.

Directed by Giselle Andres, “I Love You Hater” will be released on July 11.

Whiel it is a romantic-comedy flick, it also has genuine family values, Aquino said. (MNS)
