Natural History Museum teams up with Balita Media for the Easter Egg Drawing Contest

On March 6, 2013 Balita Media, Inc. and the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County collaboratively launched their Easter Egg Drawing Contest. In celebration of the upcoming Easter holiday, participants can create and draw their own personal rendition of the classic “Easter Egg.”

The drawing should be done on a standard 8.5 X 11 inch piece of bond paper; you may use crayons, pencils, pens, paint and/or water colors. The contest is open to children that are 10 years old or younger, who reside in Los Angeles, Orange County or surrounding areas. Participants can submit their drawing with a completed entry form to Balita Media, Inc., 520 E. Wilson Ave. Suite 210, Glendale, CA 91206. Entry forms can be found in both The US Asian Post & Weekend Balita during the month of March.  Contestants must also submit a solo photograph, either by mail or by e-mail to, with the contestant’s name and phone number.

All entries must be received at the Balita Media, Inc. office by March 29, 2013.

The two winners of the contest will be selected by Baltia Media Inc. staff on March 29, 2013 and will then be promptly notified via phone and/or email. The two winners will each receive 4 admission passes to the Natural History Museum in Los Angeles, California. Parents or legal guardians of the winners must be able to present a valid I.D upon request at the Natural History Museum.

The selected drawing and pictures of the contestants will be published in the Easter issue of Weekend Balita on March 30, 2013.  Balita Media, Inc. would like to thank its readers for their continuous support and sends out their “Happy Easter!” greetings to everyone.
