MANILA, Nov 22 (Mabuhay) – Actress Iya Villania remains a Kapamilya star after she signed a 3-year contract with ABS-CBN.
Speculations circulated earlier that Villania will leave ABS-CBN for GMA and join her former ASAP co-stars Rachelle Ann Go and Mark Bautista in the rival network.
Villania ended these rumors by clarifying that, although there has received an offer from the Kapuso network, she has decided to stay in ABS-CBN.
“I’m also very thankful that GMA showed their interest but I’m also very thankful that ABS also wants me to stay,” she shared.
She then faced the camera and declared, “Guys, I’m staying a Kapamilya! Yes, confirmed.”
Aside from Villania’s current TV shows such as “Myx”, “Us Girls” and “ASAP”, the actress divulged that her 3-year exclusive contract will cover a number of additional new projects for her.
“They’re looking in for a show for me under News and Public Affairs. That’s exciting, that’s you guys (ABS-CBN News), a reality show, [and] a soap,” Villania revealed.
Meanwhile, the talented actress said she ready to defy the challenges that may come in the way of her acting career. (MNS)
