It seems cat has got Dennis Trillo’s tongue whenever talk centers on his relationship with actress Jennylyn Mercado.
The subject was brought up in an interview tendered for his and Heart Evangelista’s upcoming Kapuso series “Juan Happy Love Story.” The press was gearing to zoom in for the kill, so to speak, by casually mentioning how nice it is seeing a recent post of them (Dennis and Jennylyn) together on vacation.
But the handsome actor politely shot down any further discussion on the matter, saying, “Ang masasabi ko lang masaya kami pareho… sa mga nangyayari sa buhay personal namin at sa trabaho. So there.
Whether it’s with Jennylyn or another girl, Dennis said he will definitely settle down with the right woman in time as “hindi rin naman ako magiging masaya kapag nanatili akong single.” However, the 34-year-old is not putting a deadline on it.
“Sacred (ang kasal), hindi minamadali,” he said.
Does he and Jennylyn talk about marriage, we asked.
“Juan Happy Love Story” is rom-com peppered with sexy and naughty. It will be aired on primetime albeit a bit late at night. The press was shown a snippet of the show and all agreed it’s something the two haven’t done before, especially Heart who has a “Dominatrix” fantasy sequence.
Asked if he feels awkward doing such scenes with Heart knowing that she could further level up in status if her husband wins as vice president in next month’s elections, Dennis simply said, “At the end of the day mga artista kami (ni Heart). It’s just work.”
In a separate interview, Heart said she appreciates it that Dennis is “protective” and “respectful” of her whenever they shoot “naughty” scenes.
On “Juan Happy Love Story,” Dennis plays a promiscuous playboy, something he isn’t in real life. “Good boy naman ako,” he said.
So how did he prepare for this “chick boy” role?
The actor said the series is must-watch as it imparts realizations about romantic relationships.
He said, “’Yung mga chick boy, iba’t-iba ’yung mga characteristic niyan eh.
“Juan Happy Love Story” will air starting next month. (MNS)
