Lee Torres, First-Ever General Manager Promoted from within Pechanga Resort & Casino
The Pechanga Development Corporation’s Board of Directors has named the first-ever general manager to be promoted from within Pechanga Resort & Casino, voted the #1 casino in the country by the readers of USA Today. Mr. Lee Torres, with nearly 20 years of experience in the gaming industry, has been an integral part of our leadership team, serving Pechanga as Chief Marketing Officer since 2011. As of March 2017, Mr. Torres will now oversee the entire property’s overall performance across 11 divisions and departments as the new general manager, taking Pechanga and its new brand image to the next level.

The overall theme and message is to wish everyone “Good Luck.” Pechanga Resort and Casino and iGraphix, their Asian advertising agency, designed the New Asian Brand logo together and is promoting this new trademark through different medias of digital and social platforms in the Asian market. Pechanga Resort & Casino Expansion Set to Open at the End of the Year
The current $285 million resort expansion set to open at the end of the year includes the addition of 568 rooms and suites, 70,000 additional square feet of indoor/outdoor event space, a luxury, two-story spa and salon, a four-acre resort pool complex with three new pools and five spas, and two new restaurants. Pechanga just celebrated the grand opening of the brand new 2,400-space parking garage featuring 44 electric vehicles charging stations and three Tesla Superchargers, marking the completion of the first phase of the expansion. Enough solar to power 100 homes along with a moving sidewalk to the casino entrance will be added to the new East Parking Garage this summer. The Pechanga Tribe also marked the mid-point to their massive expansion in April with a topping out ceremony of the new hotel wing. More updates will be unveiled soon!
